ISO 1924 (Withdrawn) Paper & Board Tensile Strength Testing

← Back to all standards

ISO 1924 is the earlier ISO tensile test method for paper and board. It has been replaced by the current ISO 1924 parts, so new work references those. To match this to your program, talk with our team.

What ISO 1924 Covered

The original method defined tensile testing of paper and board. Its content is carried forward in the current constant-rate-of-elongation parts.

Current Replacement

For new work, use ISO 1924-2 (20 mm/min) or ISO 1924-3 (100 mm/min). Legacy references map onto these.

Reading the Designation

Cited as ISO 1924 with its year. Confirm whether a current part is expected. To configure paper tensile testing, request a quote.

Related Standards

ISO 1924-2 and ISO 1924-3 are the current paper tensile methods.
