What happens after I submit a request?
A CNC consultant reviews your requirements and comes back to you, usually the same business day. Depending on what you need, the next step is either a direct quotation or a short technical conversation about materials, standards and volumes so the configuration is right the first time.
What information should I have ready for an accurate quote?
The most useful details are your sample type (flat, round or both), maximum blank dimensions, the materials and their maximum hardness, the standards you work to, how many specimens you prepare per week, and your target delivery time. A drawing of your finished specimen helps most of all.
Can you test my own material before I place an order?
Yes, and we recommend it. As a proof of concept we mill and test your specimens on the proposed configuration at no cost, document the process in photographs and video, and return the samples for your inspection. You see the actual result before committing.
Do you quote complete laboratories or only single machines?
Both. Many customers start with one specimen preparation machine, while others ask us to specify an entire testing laboratory: preparation, universal testing machines, impact and hardness testing, polishing, grips and fixtures, software and accredited calibration. Does the quotation include shipping, installation and training?
It can, and we recommend including them. The request form lets you ask for a shipping estimate and indicate whether you need installation and operator training. Quoting these up front avoids surprises in the budget approval stage.
Am I committing to anything by requesting a quote?
No. A quotation is information, not an obligation. Our engineers give a written recommendation with it, so even if you do not proceed you end up with a clearer picture of what your laboratory actually needs.
